JODI TIERNEY BIOGRAPHY

Jodi understands the complexity of insuring businesses in today's economic environment and has developed strong relationships with her clients. Customer service is a key component to the long-term success of Mid-Montana Insurance and its stellar reputation for over 100 years in Central Montana.

Jodi's specializes in Farm and Ranch, Home and Auto, Crop, Life and Business insurance in addition to several other services.
Jodi Tierney is the principal owner of Mid-Montana Insurance, a family owned independent insurance agency. With several years of experience in the industry, Jodi has successfully written policies for a multitude of businesses throughout Montana with a first-hand experience in creating and implementing coverage that will protect her client's most precious assets. She guides her clients through the process by evaluating and comparing various companies to ensure her clients understand all of the options available to establish the best possible coverage. In addition, she will help clients foresee additional risks and prepare them for the constant changes and challenges life presents.

Jodi is a member, past president, and current board member of IIAM (Independent Insurance Agents of Montana); as well as a member of the Montana Insurance Managers. Jodi volunteers her time and has served on several boards and organizations including Harlowton School Board Trustee, School Board Chairman, Jawbone Creek Country Club board; Harlowton Kiwanis Club, JCCC Ladies league, Harlowton Engineer Extras, Wheatland County Chamber of Commerce, Wheatland County Stock Growers and the Ladies of the Moose.
Insurance strategies and volunteering aren't Jodi's only passions. She and her husband Rob Tierney enjoy traveling, experiencing the outdoors, and enjoying their family.
LORI HOGE BIOGRAPHY
Lori was born and raised in northern Montana and attended Montana State University in Bozeman. After taking a year off school she entered the work force to see what she wanted to pursue; during that time, she started working in different Insurance offices in Havre and Great Falls.

Lori has worked in the Insurance industry for over 30 years. Her career started in an Independent Agency office in a typing pool! She also worked as a third-party administrator for group/health insurance for several years. She then moved into an office position where she became licensed in Life and Health and became an agent for Northwestern Mutual.

In 2005 Lori started with Farm Bureau in Harlowton as an office manager for almost 10 years. She left Farm Bureau in 2015, and went to work as an Agent for Mid-Montana Insurance. Lori is currently licensed in Property and Casualty, and working on a license in Life Insurance along with Surety Bonds. Working at Mid-Montana Insurance has been the best job, Lori enjoys working with wonderful co-workers and have developed close relationships with so many of our clients!

Lori was president of the Harlo Baseball Association, and the secretary for the Engineer Extras, as well as being involved in many other school related activities and groups.

Lori with her husband Ken have two grown sons along with four grandsons. They enjoy traveling and going on spontaneous adventures every chance they get. 

LEXI BREIPOHL BIOGRAPHY

Lexi was born in Billings Montana, and with her family moved to Harlowton in 2000. Lexi graduated from Harlowton High School with honors and a scholarship to MSU-Billings. Lexi was active in volleyball, basketball, and track and field; which she lettered in all sports along with choir and band. She grew up on the Tierney Ranch outside of Harlowton which allowed her to understand and obtain her work ethic and perseverance.

Lexi is a licensed producer for Mid-Montana Insurance as well as a licensed real estate agent for Central Montana Real Estate. Lexi understands the intricacy of insuring businesses including farm/ranch in today's hard market environment. She has developed solid relationships with her clients.

Lexi is the mother of 3 girls. Lexi is an active member of the board for the Wheatland County Chamber of Commerce, as well as her family being long-standing business owners and ranchers in Harlowton.

Lexi's enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, and entertaining friends and family. She is very excited to be serving the Musselshell Valley.
ANGELA WALTERS BIOGRAPHY
Angela joined Mid Montana Insurance in 2022 after a 30 plus year career in Health Care. Angela was born and raised in Montana. Completing her education at Montana Technological University, she left Montana for a career opportunity and to raise her family in Las Vegas, Nevada. Family responsibility brought Angela back home to Montana.

Angela likes people on a one-on-one basis and the insurance field has allowed her to do just that. The educational challenge to learn from the ground up has been inspired by the strong support and guidance of her coworkers. Angela is licensed in Property, Casualty and Surety; servicing personal and commercial platforms.

Angela is a member of the Harlowton Kiwanis Club, and the Jawbone Creek Lady’s League. Being involved with the community she able to network with service-oriented persons.  

Family is always front and center for Angela. She finds time to travel, spend time with family and friends; as well as, swing a golf club every now and then. Angela has adopted Harlowton as her hometown and hopes to contribute in a positive manner.
Mid-Montana Insurance and its legacy was founded in 1919 by Tony Poirer operating under the company name Wheatland Abstract, Inc. While the time frame that Mr. Poirer owned the agency is still uncertain, it was primarily an Agricultural agency
Mr.Poirer sold the agency to Oscar Callant and co-owner L. Stanley Kalberg. They proceeded to change the agency's name from Wheatland Abstract, Inc. to Mid-Montana Insurance & Title. During their tenure and operations with the company they wrote all lines of P&C, Life, and Title Insurance.
In 1973 Tom Hayden and his wife Linda purchased the agency, and once again they too changed the agency's name to Mid-Montana Insurance & Real-estate. They sold the Title business to Mark Josephson moving the Title Insurance to Big Timber MT that same year. Tom’s Focus was also primarily Agricultural, selling all lines of P&C, life, and real-estate.
In 2001 I, Jodi Tierney started working for Tom as a CSR and then became licensed in P&C, Surety/Bonds and Life Insurance. My husband Rob Tierney and I purchased the insurance agency in 2003, making us the fifth set of owners of Mid­ Montana Insurance's historical journey. We now specialize in Farm and Ranch, Home and Vehicle, Crop, Life and Business Insurance, Work Comp in addition to Surety and Bonding services.
I understand the complexity of insuring businesses in today's economic environment and have developed strong relationships with our clients. As co-owner of Tierney Livestock, which is our ranching business, I have firsthand knowledge of what it takes to manage an agricultural business as well as our insurance agency. Customer service is a key component to the long-term success of Mid-Montana Insurance and its stellar reputation for 100 years in Central Montana.
We purchased this quality insurance agency with a long-term plan of retaining and enhancing future growth in our company. We have no intention of selling this agency at any time in the near future, we have family whom have shown interest in the business, but who are pursuing other interests at their young stage in life. I have no intentions of retiring anytime soon, and am passionate about the service and coverage we offer our clients. I am proud to be an active business within our community and support many school and charitable endeavors. The business is a well-respected and trusted partner for all of our clients and their individual needs.
As a value added service at our office location we offer meeting and small conference facilities to our customers, as well as the general public, including governmental agencies that have a need for privacy and confidentiality, as we too pride ourselves on these merits.
I am a proud member of IIAM, Trusted Choice, Montana Insurance Managers, and the Better Business Bureau. I have also volunteered my time severing on several boards and organizations including President, and current board member of IIAM, School Board Trustee, School Board Chair, Jawbone Creek Country Club board, Harlowton Kiwanis Club President, JCCC Ladies league, JCCC Ladies league President, Harlowton Engineer Extras, Wheatland County Stock Growers, Wheatland County Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture as well as the Ladies of the Moose.
